Kitchen Update {Inspired by a Couple of Talented Ladies}

Kitchen Update Inspired by Some Talented Ladies via http://deniseonawhim.blogspot.com
I'm thrilled! And there are many reasons for my excitement! First and foremost, my kitchen is organized!! I now also have a room in my fairly ugly rental house that I actually like looking at! And, finally, I got to add some of my vintage and rustic stash to my own house! I can't wait to show you my kitchen!

Every Time a Bell Rings... A Christmas Sign with a Classic Movie Line

Movie line from It's a Wonderful Life as pallet art
When it comes to the holidays, I can't go a season with watching my favorite movie (ever): It's a Wonderful Life. It's an awesome reminder of how important each and every one of us are in this crazy-old world!

Honored to be on Mommypage Today!

I'm very excited to tell you that I am on Mommy Page today!
A short time ago, I was contacted by Mommy Page to be part of their Page Turner Program. They asked me to share a craft with their readers. I've seen the kind of projects shared on Mommy Page so I was really thrilled to be asked!

Christmas Through Lowell

Christmas Through Lowell Booth Display via http://deniseonawhim.blogspot.com
This weekend is the annual Christmas Through Lowell event in our community. People sell crafts right out of the comfort of their own homes during this fun event. I love the small town I live in because there's always something going on!

Upcycled Ornament Display Tree

Upcycling an old cd holder as a tree for displaying ornaments
After crafting some simple snowman ornaments out of 2x4 pieces and can lids, I needed a clever place to display them at our booth. A metal CD rack I picked up at the thrift store was just the ticket!

A Rustic Christmas Star

broken window panes become a Christmas star
When you have to dismantle the damaged panes from a window to make a Christmas sign, why not use the dividers to make a rustic Christmas star while you're at it? That's what I did!

Proud Momma Moment

autumn, family
My kids let me take some pictures of them. By that, I mean they actually cooperated! Taking a moment away from our regularly scheduled programming to just be a proud mom and show off my kids a little!
