In Our Home {A Client Project}

I received an email a short time ago from a wonderful lady, Laura, who had a frame she really liked but had redecorated her home and it didn't fit anymore. She requested we paint the frame and add a new graphic. Today I'm showing off the newly painted frame and stenciled graphic.

Bike Wheel Rag Wreath

upcycled, recycled, wheel, rust, wreath
While I didn't have the time to snap any nice, fancy pictures of this project, I'm sharing it with you anyway since I think it's pretty fun! With a little rust and some pretty fabric, my daughter's old bicycle wheel makes a pretty autumn rag wreath!

Pretty Pumpkins

pumpkins, autumn, decor
I love pumpkins and squash. They come in such gorgeous colors, like the few I chose this year. Bright orange, pale orange, peach, white. They're all so beautiful!

Sunday Morning at the Covered Bridge

covered bridge, fall colors, historic Lowell
A few weekends ago, I took a little time for myself on a quiet Sunday morning and went to visit a great historic area just outside of town. The Fallasburg Area is simply beautiful and full of history. I take my kids to the park there sometimes but rarely do I get to enjoy some time to myself, simply soaking in the beauty that surrounds me. I snapped some pictures to share it with you all.

Girl Put Your Records On {A Cabinet Makeover}

vintage, furniture makeover, chalk paint
This great old record cabinet was a donation from a friend. With its original pulls, it had a bit of an oriental flavor to it. But not anymore!

Sometimes you find the prettiest little things on the side of the road. This project was constructed with the donations from a few different households. People throw out some amazing things!

Autumn-Inspired Cupboard Door Shelf

I was lucky enough to snag some showroom cupboard doors at an auction last year. They were all different in design and color. I've used some as signs and hook boards and only have a few left. I decided to make this one into a shelf!

Apple Pickin'

The kids and I took a trip to Klackle Orchards this weekend. Located in Greenville, MI, they have a wide variety of fun activities for the kids and some pretty cool eye-candy, too!

Farmhouse Bathroom Inspiration Clipboard on Hometalk

When Alex from Hometalk emailed me and asked me if I'd like to curate a clipboard of farmhouse bathroom ideas, I couldn't have been happier! First of all, Hometalk is a great resource for DIY projects for your home and I've been a member for over a year now. And, to get asked to curate a board for them, well, that was fantastic!

Striking Red Sewing Desk

This sewing stand is such a dainty little piece with beautiful hardware. She's so girly and pretty that I knew red would look good on her! Let's take a look at her before she got some new clothes.
